My entrepreneurship journey so far: three ventures in three years
I did not set out to become an entrepreneur. I set out to become a good developer. But each problem I solved pointed to a bigger one worth solving properly.
2024: Innovant Technologies
My first venture was a technology company serving businesses. It taught me the discipline of client work: listening carefully, scoping honestly and delivering on time.
2025: IsoMount Tech Collective
In April 2025 I founded IsoMount to help African developers get seen. Where Innovant serves clients, IsoMount serves a community, and that required thinking about products, trust and a sustainable business model.
2026: Sanctum and the bootcamp
On 12 March 2026 I founded Sanctum, a social network for Catholic life. The same year I completed the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp by Professors Without Borders, which gave structure to lessons I had been learning by instinct: understand customers, test before overbuilding, and think about revenue from day one.
Lessons I would share
Start with a real problem. Build the smallest useful version. Talk to users early. Protect your focus, because ideas are cheap and execution is not.
Still a student
I am in my fourth year at Multimedia University of Kenya while running these ventures. It takes discipline, but each side feeds the other.
