Building Sanctum: a social network made for Catholic life

SanctumFaithProduct

Billions of people connect through social media, yet none of the big platforms were designed around daily prayer, the liturgical calendar or the life of a parish. On 12 March 2026 I founded Sanctum to build that missing space.

What Sanctum offers

Sanctum brings Daily Readings, the Bible, the Catholic Missal and an interactive Rosary into one place. Parishes and Small Christian Communities get private hubs for announcements, ministries and events. Members can follow Mass live, give tithes and donations, request Mass intentions and shop for verified Catholic goods.

Designing for trust

A faith community runs on trust, so the product must feel calm, respectful and safe. That shapes permissions on private groups, how payments are handled and how content is moderated.

Why I am the right person to build it

Faith has been part of my life for a long time. During my teaching assistant years I led the Christian union choir in praise and worship. Sanctum combines that lived experience with my work as a full-stack engineer.

Where it goes next

Every feature must serve a real moment in a Catholic's week: the morning reading, Sunday Mass, the parish notice, the evening Rosary. I will share progress here as Sanctum grows.
